Playing at home!

Sunday, November 15th
It has been a crazy last few weeks but it has finally got cooler not the fake thing where its freezing one day and 90+ the next,I'm so over the heat. We were able to break out our new warm racer PJ's. It is so cute but when he was still wearing his DOC band it really looked like he was a race car driver.I'm still getting used to him with out it and loving the fact that I can kiss his real head instead of the band the only down side is that he has had a few more bumps on the head than before. I love watching Riley grow and learn it is amazing to me how he understands so much and complies with commandsrequests. He has been doing a lot better about playing in his play room alone, he walks from the kitchen to the playroom and its so cute!

Walking in his new racer PJ's.

His ball went under the curio cabinet , so I told him to get it and he did!

He tried to reach for it but it was on the other side.

Finally got the ball.

Happy with his accomplishment.

For some reason he loves the balls from his ball pit.

A slight smile with a runny nose so I know there are more teeth on the way.
Looking at himself in the mirror and thinking its pretty awesome.

Playing at the mall!

Friday, November 13th
I forgot to add these photos oops! After our PT we went to the mall to meet Tara, Hayden Sierra and her mom (forgot her name) for lunch. After lunch we headed to the play area to let the kids run around before shopping. Hayden and Sierra are the same age and so they play together a lot better so Riley played by himself and had a great time. He loved to watch the other kids and walk around like a little monkey man (I love his arms always in the air like a monkey). It was a lot of fun and nice to sit a talk with the other moms.
Walking to the little kid area, for non walkers etc.

He loved the divider wall, he played on it for more than half our time there.

Crawling in to the space ship and people watching.

So cute!

Finally he sat down but only for a moment.

Sierra and Hayden driving in the car.

Riley got there a little late, Hayden and Sierra move way to fast but he still liked to watched the other kids play.

Hayden and Sierra playing on the bus.

Sierra sliding down to meet Riley.

He loved this butterfly.

Monkey man walking towards the camera, to cute!

Graduate from PT!

Friday, November 13th
Today we went in for our last Physical Therapy, we had to wait 4 weeks and then come back for our last time to make sure his neck was straight. After a exit evaluation she cleared him, YEAH! We really enjoyed hanging out with Miss Jess but are still happy to be done with PT we have exchanged numbers in order to keep in touch and hang out. She absolutely loves Riley and was sad to see him go but it wasn't goodbye it was see ya later, thanks again Miss Jess you are AWESOME!
Big cookie I made to give her to say thanks.

Riley and Miss Jess with his certificate of completion.

She has a homemade graduation hat, it was so cute!

Riley with his hat and certificate.

Riley reading his certificate to Miss Jess he was talking so it was really funny even though we had no clue what he was saying. We also gave her bubbles because he LOVES them and they were running low.

I just loved this picture, way to cute!

Riley loved this slide and since he could climb the stairs it was even more fun. He has decided to try and hold onto the railing and walk up the stairs but Im not ready for him to do that he isnt steady enough so I still make him crawl up and down, we pratice at home all the time to prevent any falls, so far so good he even uses that to get off the couch and bed (feet first).

Playing with his favorite thing bubbles, she decided to break out the new bubbles we got her.

Riley trying to get some bubbles.

Waving the stick to try and get out bubbles but only got bubble juice everywhere.

Riley helping Miss Jess with some bubbles.

Happy Halloween!

Saturday, October 31st
We decided it was finally time to carve our pumpkin, we had such a busy week that we didn't get around to it. Riley was interested in helping out but when he tried to put a seed in his mouth and I said no then he freaked out and got upset. It took awhile but then he started to be OK with helping, he wasn't to sure about the guts and wasn't into putting his hand in there but loved putting the spoon in there. Then it was off to the neighbors for trick or treating. We started at Bob and Starr's house to visit and drop off goodies. Then we went to Doug and Sue's house, they are all good neighbors and so since Riley cant eat the candy and I don't need it we just went to those 2 houses and then home to hand out candy. They loved seeing him dressed up in his costume and he really enjoyed walking and getting stuff to put in his bag, that's one of he favorite things lately (putting things in places, bags, airplane etc). He really liked giving out candy too! Aw I'm all caught up!

Not to sure about what this was, but he was interested.
Pulling the top off.
With his hand in the pumpkin and not to happy about it.
Not to happy about not being able to eat a seed.
Enjoying putting the spoon in the pumpkin, he didn't get anything out so I put some stuff on there to help him out a bit.
Dumping the guts and seeds on the plate.
Trying to do it himself, got to love the independence!
Getting more into it.
All dressed up and ready to trick or treat!
At Bob and Starr's house.
Waiting for them to answer so we can get some candy.

Thanks Starr and Bob, love ya!
Picking candy out of the bowl and wanting more than one piece, way to cute, thanks Sue.
Sitting by the pumpkin we carved earlier as you can see its later in the evening and he is getting tired.
Interested in the pumpkin.
Playing with Nana's earrings, silly boy but there is that big smile.

Harvest Party

Thursday, October 29th and Friday, October 30th
The Fry's grocery store had some Halloween activities so we decided to go, Hayden and Tara joined us, she forgot his outfit so he had to go as himself , its OK he was still cute. They had a cookie walk, picture coloring, cookie decorating and bowling it was really nice. As you can see the boys loved the cookies. Friday we had a Harvest Party at our house for the Single Moms group at church. Over the last few weeks I have been given a lot more responsibility, I enjoy helping out all that I can and being in charge of activities is another fun job among all the others. We had a great time and it was nice to catch up with everyone outside of Church.

Riley and Hayden eating their cookies, they look um um good and they were I took a small bite.
Riley loved the cookie and the camera but Hayden was to interested in the cookie to care about the camera but he loved the cookie and activities.
Riley and I before the Harvest Party, little dog Toto in the background(Roxy in her outfit) all I need now is a basket!
Nana, Mommy, Riley and Rocky!
All the food we had it was a LOT and it was yummy!
Look at our Mummy dogs, so cute.
We had a lot of games for the kids and the biggest hit was the bouncy house (the church let us use it which was awesome), we had hot pumpkin, pin the mouth on the pumpkin and cup cake walk. It was a lot of fun! Riley and Hayden testing out the bouncy house before everyone got there.
Having a blast in the bouncy house, he has never been in one so he wasn't sure what to do.
Mommy and Riley in the bouncy house.
Having a good time trying to bounce.

14 Months old!

Tuesday, October 27th
Well once again my little man is another month older and growing like crazy. Lets play catch up since it has been awhile, he is 23 pounds and I think 30-31 inches (cant remember) he has 8 teeth with more on the way. He is trying to walk and talk a lot more so hopefully soon he will be walking alone. Our favorite word is still yeah, he waves bye bye, claps his hands, does cheers with his cup, knows where his head is and smacks his lips when you say "is that lip smacking good" its sooo cute and funny. I'm sure there is more that I'm not thinking of right now. We are done with our DOC band on November 4th YEAH and we are finished with physical therapy, need I say more HURRAY! I think that about covers all the new stuff for now anyways.

I love this outfit and he is just so darn cute!
He is debating whether or not to let go.
He let go of the couch and headed to his favorite toy the gate, he likes to open and close it. He let go of the gate to walk towards me since I had the camera.
Before he let go, sorry mixed these 2 pictures up.
Still preparing himself up to let go!
He let go and for some reason he closed his eyes I guess so he wouldn't see himself fall or hit the camera, not sure what that was about but I thought his face was funny.
Playing with his other favorite toys Micky airplane and oh yes the TV remote, I gave him one but noooooo he wants my remote, what is the deal with that and how does he know the difference??? Stinker!
He loves to put random items in his Micky plane, sometimes items get stuck and he gets so frustrated when he cant get them out it funny. Lets see what we have this time...
Wait for it...
(He is talking to me since I asked what he had in there).
Yeah it is his monkey rattle glad its not something of mine, he loves my pens so whenever I am missing anything that's the first place I look, my little pack rat!

Schnepf Farms

Thursday, October 22nd
My friend Tara and I decided to take our boys to Schnepf Farms, it was a lot of fun for the boys with play ares, animals , train rides and more. The weather has been so nice we had to go out and enjoy it, as you can see we are in warmer clothes its such a lovely change.

Riley as a pumpkin face.
Hayden feeding the animals, he was a little nervous but got into it after a bit, Riley would rather eat the animals food or throw it as the animals he is still a little to young and I didn't want him to lose any fingers.
Going for a ride on the bumble bee, it went up and down he really liked it.
Hayden went for a ride on the airplane, Riley was to small and no adults allowed so maybe next year he can go up up and away!
They had a big pumpkin patch so Tara and Hayden went looking for one, I thought this was way to cute he tried to get the biggest one there but it was way to heavy so they settled on a smaller one.
It was sort of dark and there wasn't much light so the pictures didn't come out well and the boys were more interested in the pumpkins, other kids more than smiling for pictures.
They really liked rolling/pushing the pumpkins down the haystack (it was like 8ft high and they were at the top).
Riley playing with Hayden.
Riley and Mommy almost to the top!
The 4 of us at the bottom, Mommy Riley, Hayden and Tara.
